Mr. Carl Merner visited on Sunday in Zurich with his grandmother, Mrs. • J.W. Obituary MISS JOSEFINE STIRLING Miss Josephine Stirling, Gaderich Nursing Horne, died at the home Friday, August 8. She was 92. She was born June 17, 1883 in Goderich Township to William and Jane (Colwell) Stirling. She had been a lifelong resident o "'rewash* vtnd-- Hayfield, and had worked ag a tailoress. She was member of St Andiew's -United Church. Hayfield, and a life member of the UCW there. She is survived by one sister, Mr. • Hugh (Charlotte) McLaren, Port Elgin. Funeral service was Monday, August 11 at hicCallum Funeral Home with the Rev. James Reddoch, officiating assisted by the Rev. Ronald McCallum. Interment was in Hayfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Stirling, Don Keys, WiIIiam Stirling, Ralph Jewell, Den Campbell and Harley Mason. Miss Beauvais has played dramatic, roles on television far Jean-Pierre Aumont, in Maurice Evans' The Corn Is Green, and in the serial TheDoctors. Don Fleckser, an integral part of the U.W.O. and London amateur theatre scene, plays the "Scrooge -like, but lovable Horace Vaectergeyter. As well as, appearing in many productions such as The Ceucible, Our Town, and The Fantasticks, Mr. Fleckser has directed numerous productions including My Fair Lady, South Pacific, Wait Until Dark, and Camelot. Mr. *Fleckser previously played Van- dergelder in the Kitchener- WaterlooMusical production of Dolly.• Mrs. Malloy is played by Kathleen Forget, an actress well-known to Huron Country Playhouse audiences for her performances in the 1974 productions of Last of the Red Het Levers, and Stage Door.
