tertainment. A hearty vote of

Mrs.. Lloyd Makins and her
committee for arranging the
trip and also to our kind and
capable bus driver. They
arrived home at 8:45 p.m. and
all agreed it had been a lovely
trip.

Pier on Sunday' afternoon and

On Sunday June 15, the Huron
Trail Riders held a trail ride at
Hullett Wildlife Management
Area. Members of area 4-H
horse club joined in, to tally 31
horses and riders.
The riders went approx. 10
miles through the area with one
river crossing. .
The Huron Trail Riders had
prizes for • the three best 4-H
members who demonstrated
their ability in safety and trail
• and horses knowledge, as
follows: Viki Steepe riding

The treasurer Mrs. Merton
Merner being • absent, her
report was . read by the
president and was adopted. She
reported that the vacuum
cleaner had' been, repaired to
the satisfaction of the cleaner.
It was included in her motion
that incidental bills that come
in before our next meeting in
September should be paid by
the treasurer.
Mrs. Fitzsimons also
reported on the flower and card
committee; that a number of
cards and flowers had ,been
sent out to members connected
with the Church. It was decided
to purchase an electric broom- f••
age,.
With birds singing, squirrels
and chipmunks frisking about,
the June meeting of the Ladies
Guild of Trinity Church was
held on the patio at the
beautiful lakeside home of Mr.

Chapter of St. Luke, and all
repeated the Lord's Prayer in
unison. She also read a lovely
poem, "Happy Holidays" and
Mrs. Harry Baker read a poem

Springtime". The roll call was
answered by 10 members.

chmer gave the report of the
May meeting, which was an -

Thieves gained entry to the
arena and the, refreshment
booth and stole 'a quantity of
chocolate bars, potato chips
and goodies. ' When ap-
prehended, the culprits will
certainly be prosecuted.
