Rundown Feeling Is Often
Caused By Nervous Trouble
Strained, tense .nerves' are often the cause of
restless nights. Improper rest, night after night, is
quickly followed by loss of appetite, irritability and
a tired, run-down condition.
For disorders such as these, Milburn's Health
and Nerve Pills are highly beneficial and, once tried,
their medicinal value soon becomes apparent by the
condition of the health. •
The iron and other ingredients they contain help to improve the
blood content, stimulate the nerve cells, and the appetite, aid digestion,
thus helping to promote peaceful sleep. They have helped thousands of
others. *They should do the. same for you. Milburn's Health and Nerve
Pills are sold at drug counters everywhere: - ;

weather , vhicli'WO have had in August
and early September, has caused con-
siderable sun seald, quite frequently'
mistaken as rube, brut at the same, tlme
it has helped to avoid infestations of
blight and bean anthracnose. Mr, R.
R. Hillier, inspector, Plant Products
Division, Loudon, has stsated that, un-
less eve should have a period of cool,
dull weather, there would be little,
danger of an outbreak of either blight
or anthracnose this fall. Both these
diseases caused a considerable Loss to
the crop of 1946,,
A few farmers have .already made
inquiry to custom men about the filling
of their silos, and possibly some of this
will be done WI the end of the 'week.
In view of the fact that corn was late
seeded in most ca!§es, it would be wise
to check closely the stage of growth
of the corn before it is ensiled. The
best stage at which corn should be cut,
if it is going to be put into the silo, is
in the medium or late dough stage.
If cut at this stage, there is a consider-
able increase in the amount of protein,
fat, sugar and dry mutter present.
Corn can be made into good silage
several days, after cutting if there is
sufficient moisture retained, but best
results are obtained if ensiled im-
mediately, or shortly after cutting.
