You do! Okay! 11 starts Iikc this...

out to see what it was. My mother
came running hack in a panic.

It's snow she replied. I have nev-
er seen snow before mom! What is
it like',
you wish you can go play in it.

As soon as Scurry went outside

The Night Before Christmas
Hensall Public School held their annual Christmas concert last Tuesday night and there
was a surprise. It was a visit from a rabbit played by Ann Simmons, photo above, who had
to set Santa straight on a few things. At bottom, the grade two class performed their ver-
sion of The Night Before Christmas.
The Real Christmas

In it manger he did lay,
His head upon a bundle of hay.
He was born to us that day,
Now we all gather round,
To sing and pray and dance.
Mary's little boy is found.

Christmas Morning
By Shannon Baer
Grade 3, E.P.S.
One Christmas morning Ashley
Bunny, Ang Bunny and their broth-
er Jamie, went downstairs. Ang is a
baby. She got a teddy bear. She
liked that. Their brother got a new
water gun. But Ashley got a ball.
Mom put Ang in the playpen and
she played with her new Teddy
bear. Jamie had a bath and played
with his new water gun. Mom and
Dad went into the kitchen and
cooked breakfast. Well, Ashley
couldn't do anything with her ball
because she was not allowed to
bounce the ball in the house. There
was one more present and nobody
was looking.
So she ripped it open and guess
what she found? A step! But you
could not see it. She thought she
could play tricks on the other peo-
ple living in the house. She could
put it in front of her brother's door
and he would hurt himself. But she
told her brother. She said to him,
"Do you know what 1 found?" A
disappearing step." They said,
"Let's play a trick on mom and
dad." So they did and they did it to
other people too. •
