Christmas Eve
By Darren Glavin
Mt. Carmel
On Christmas night when me and
my brother snuggled in bed hoping
that Saint Nick would soon be here.
I got out of bed and played Game
Gear for 2 hours. I hustled up the
stairs and went to sleep. I heard a
clang and a bump. I got out of bed
hustled down the stairs. I thought
Saint Nick would be there. I ran my
hardest and what did I see a whole
hunch of presents waiting for me.

The Cat's Christmas
By Jonathan Brand
Stephen Central School, Grade 5
We heard a crash in the living
room. _
There was a big boom!
There were all the decorations lay-
ing all over the room
We had to clean it up with the
broom!
So we locked Simba up in his
room.
My Adventure with
Santa
By Joshua Dean
Grade 3, E.P.S.
One upon a time Santa came to
my house on December 25 and said
"Come with me to the North Pole".
I said "1 will come. Just let me get
dressed." He said, "Leave them,"
but I took my clothes anyway.
When we got there I was freezing. I
said, "I want to go home." He said,
"I will go get your home and bring
it to you." And from then on my
family lived with the Claus family!

Don't Forget Me
By Elliott liott Evens
Stephen Central School, Grade 6
It was the night before Christmas
And minus twenty outside.
There was six feet of snow,
When Old Saint Nick flew by,
He must have been dazed,
Or confused or plain stupid,
For when he came to my -house,
He just yelled,
"On Cupid!"
I went back to bed,
My eyes full of tears.
When suddenly, from the roof I
heard,
What sounded like a herd of steers!
Why t' was Old Saint Nick,
He finally decided to remember
me!
Christmas
By Julienne Reusser
Lucan Public School, Age 8
Christmas is me.
Christmas is you.
It is also getting together.
It is nota stocking.
It is not Santa.
It is not presents.
It is JESUS CHRIST.
