Juvenhle hockey Is back
EXETER - After nearly a dozen years absence, juvenile hockey
has returned to Exeter.
Juvenile hockey dates back all the way to 1939 when the Lions
Club sponsored a juvenile team which is considered to be the first
'minor' team in Exeter.
The 1994-95 team, called the Chiefs opened up their season Sun-
day night with a 7-0 Toss to visiting Listowel. The visitors got all
their goals in the second period.
Exter travels to Drayton on Saturday and the next day play host to
Listowel again at 9 p.m.
While this year's team is being administered by the Exeter Minor
Hockey Association, it is more of a regional team with players com-
ip g from Zurich, Grand Bend, Hensel!, Dashwood, Exeter and Lu -
can.
