Grand opening
The official opening of Beckers Power and Leisure Products inc. was held last Thursday
night in their Usborne township location directly across Highway 4 from Becker Farm
Equipment. At the top back, Bob, Bill and Joe Becker are about to cut the ribbon and be-
low Steven and Dave VandenBussche try out the seat of a new Arctic Cat snowmobile.

Ontario agricultural
museum holds events
MILTON - Over 50 riders, their
ponies and horses will participate
in a Gymkhana and schooling
show at the Ontario Agricultural
Museum's fourth annual Kids, Po-
nies and Fun! event, September 4.
This event, held in cooperation
with Touch 'n Go Farms of Camp-
bellville, Ontario, will have riders
aged 6 to 18 competing in jumping
and Gymkhana divisions. The
Gymkhana division will include
turnouts, musical stalls, and trots.
The jumping competition will
have ponies and riders jumping
over fences.
Back by popular demand is pony
rides for children and tractor
drawn wagon rides for the whole
family.
The Museum site consists of
over 30 buildings and displays fea-
turing costumed interpreters, farm
animals, prize winning quilts, a
country style restaurant, gift shop
and plenty of free parking. Come
spend a relaxing day in the country
and discover Ontario's rich rural
heritage!
To rcach the Museum take High-
way 401, exit Guelph Line or
Highway 25 north and follow the
signs. The Museum is open 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. daily until Septem-
ber 25, 1994.

President visits Hensall Co-op
Taking in the sites of the Hensall Co-op is Roger George, president of the Ontario Federa-
tion of Agriculture George was in town as part of a cross county tour of a number of facil-
ities. A number of officials with the Hensall Co-op were on hand for the tour which also in-
cluded a visit at Exeter Produce before a dinner at Morrison Dam. Pictured above and on
the left of George is Larry Shapton, sales manager with the co-op who explained how
beans were processed. Below, Shapton and George examine beans on one of the pro-
duction lines.
