Almost makes you think of Vancouver after the Stanley Cup play- offs. What about the gutless Montreal Expo management playing the national anthem an hour before the game to an empty building just to keep the french happy? Oh well, with the crowds they're get- ting, we don't have to worry about the anthem before a game. Thc team will be long gone. So let's see, no baseball team, no football and their hockey team is in for tough times for awhile. Come on Lucien Bouchard (he's my hero), get'the P.Q. plan in action and I wish you good luck. Just say you're not just teasing us this time. THiS IS THE LAW? And to thc end, you know that I know everybody must be protect- ed and have a lawyer. i realize that and that's the way it should he, but I often wonder when i see a lawyer get a child molester or rapist or murderer off thc hook when the guy has been caught in the act and obviously guilty and the lawyer springs him on a technicality. You then see the lawyer walk outside of the court building with his client and as proud as can be. The very next day, that criminal might kill a kid. i wonder if they go home at night and say to their wives, "Great day today Martha, 1 got a child molester sprung by a mistake the police made." When they're alone at night and close their eyes do thcy wonder what their client is doing at that very moment and do they (the lawycrs) have any regrets? They probably don't be- cause, what kind of a person would defend those creatures anyhow? Folks, 1 sec the day coming when people say "We've had enough of these soft politicians, who put every obstacle in the way of the police." (it's like the politicians arc against thc po- lice) and who arc more concerned about the criminal than honest law abiding citizens." Thc cry will be "WE'VE HAD ENOUGH AND WE'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE iT ANYMORE!" When we have enough guts to stand up and demand that, instead of acting like sheep, Canada will be a good country again.
