the scoreboard.
Blair Moir's late goal in t
third proved to be the game win,
ner as South Huron edged their
opponents by one goal bringing
their regular league record to
three wins and one loss.
The Panthers allowed a 3-1
lead to slip away, in the second
and it looked as if they wouldn't
be able to keep up to the younger
Central Huron team, but they
managed.to hold on.
"We had a bit of a let down in
the second period and we,,
Lowed them to come back,";
coach Pete Heeney. "We

(apse last Wednesday night giving
up three goals in less than a minute
in the first period. The Chiefs
fought back dominating the rest of
the game and tieing it up. Scott
Rowe notched two of the Chiefs
goals and Derek Beckett added the
third.
"We could have easily won it.
We just didn't capitalize on a lot of
our chances," said coach Hank De-
bruyn.
The Chiefs played an all out of-
fensive game against Ingersoll
scoring two goals in the first five
minutes. Gavin Snell scored first
on a two on one when Trevor Tay-
lor fed Rob Kobayashi who went
on the rush with Snell, banging it
home past the Ingersoll goalie. Ko-
bayashi scored the second goal of
the period when he took a pass
from Snell to up the lead 2-0. Ben
Armstrong also assisted on the
play.
Marty Debruyn scored the Chiefs
third marker, shorthanded in the
second when he walked untouched
through the defense with some fan-
cy moves.
The fourth goal of the game came
on the powerplay when Beckett
won the face-off sending the puck
back to the point, Brian Richard-
son nailed a shot past the screened
goaltender.
Snell capped the scoring for the
Chiefs on a fast break in the third,
assisted by Taylor and Armstrong.
After the game coach Debruyn
said he was pleased with his team's
performance.
"We've beaten them twice al-
ready. Them missing players really
helped us. The whole,Iine of Snell.
Taylor, and Kobayashi played
great, they had thiee of our five
goals," said Debruyn.
