The Wingham Golf and Curling Club, located one mile south and one mile east of Wingham off Highway 4, will be the site. The time will be 7:30 p.m. Although named "Mothers Against Drunk Driving", the group welcomes members regardless of gender or age. in fact, many of the most active members, directors, and officers are indeed male. Jim Wideman, the executive director of MADD Canada, will attend the meeting and it is hoped that as many as possible from the Huron/ Bruce area and beyond will attend to hear Wideman tell of his fami- ly's experience as victims of a drunk driver and what MADD Can- ada strives to do every day to pre- vent other families from suffering a similar experience. It is expected that a full slate of officers and a board of directors will be selected at this formative meeting from a group of volun- teers. Individual membership and corporate involvement is encour- aged. For further information re- garding this meeting or MADD Hu- ron/Bruce, please call Barb Rintoul at 357-3079 (Whitechurch), or Lynne Magee at 357-1460 (Wing - ham). Everyone is encouraged to attend and be part of the solution in the fight against the killer crime of drunk driving.
