Fed Cattle: 605 Cows: 138 Veal calves: 210 Sheep & Goats: 227 Stockers: 824 Pigs: Light run The market at Brussels Livestock saw fed steers and heifers selling $1.00 lower. Cows sold $1.00 higher. On Thursday veal sold on a steady active trade. Lambs sold steady to last week. On Friday calves and yearlings sold on a strong active trade. There were 384,steers on offer selling from 86.00 to 89.00 to the high of 94.00. Forty-one steers consigned by Cunningham Farms, Lucan averaging 1338 lhs. sold for an average of 86.71 with sales to 94.00. Ten thought- provoking judging stations of items from tool boxes to livestock forced members to use their best decision- making skills. Around 90 members from throughout Huron County took part. Junior Farmers donation The Huron County Federation of Agriculture has donated $1000 to the Huron County Junior Farmers to herd support a leadership camp for rural and urban youth. Camp youth chair Susan McLachlan accepts a mock-up cheque for the Pride of Huron leadership camp from Huron Federation of Agriculture president Steve Thompson.
