Although Dann finished eighth in a field of 40 competitors, she rolled a 633 triple pinfall to beat her 192 Zurich Town and Country Golden Age average by 57 pins and wound up just 32 pins behind OFPBA la- dies champion, Hamilton's Mary Okacza, who had 89 over. Exeter took the first game 14-11 in the rain on Monday night and a 23-1 victory on Wednesday night. Excellent base running was a fac- tor in both games. Several strike- outs by Exeter pitchers Miranda Grenier and Jennifer Baker helped to end the Monday night rain - soaked game after three innings. Wednesday's game boasted more action as the Exeter girls rounded the bases at Centralia 23 times.
