World Day of Prayer

Euchre is planned for tonight
EXETER - The Rebekahs ate
holding a euchre in the Lodge hall
March 8 at 8 p.m.
Sis. Helen Coates sent cards to
several husbands of members who
are i11: Bob Blair, Norman Stan -
lake, Bill Baechler and Gilbert
Johns. Olive Hicks is home, but
Dorothy Jones is in South Huron
Hospital.

Coates will be away for awhile.
The group is having a meal and
entertainment Friday night, March
10 at 6:30.
The Rebekahs made donations to
the Arthritis Society and the Educa-
tion Foundation. They were asked
to observe March 23rd, the birth-
date of Schyler Colfax who wrote
their degree. They had several invi-
tations: to St. Thomas for the Good
Friday Rally April 14 and May 24
for Color Bearers Night; to Forest
April 18 when PDDP's will Open
lodge and PNG's will Close lodge;
to Victoria in London April 20 and
again May 4 for their Musicians
Night; and to Stratford for their
98th Birthday Party. The Theta Rho
Club in Ilderton are having a Fash-
ion Show April 6.
DDP Sis. Jean Hodgen will make
her official Visit April 5. The group
will have a Pot Luck meal at 6:30
followed by the meeting at 8 p.m.
The next meeting, April 19, Assem-
bly Warden Sis. Diane Cole will be
a guest.They plan to have a dinner
at 6:30 at Exeter United Church fol-
lowed by a meeting at 8 p.m., also
in the church.
Some members plan to attend
Hobo Night in Ilderton March 13
and Brothers Night in Dorchester
beginning at 6:30 with an Irish
Stew.
The District meeting is April 12.
