Movement!
For the third year, the public schools in the South Huron area
held their annual Celebration of Movement. Last Wednesday
it was McCurdy Public School's turn to play host. The event,
started by Hensall is unique to the local schools and has yet
to catch in on in the rest of the county. Each school is re-
sponsible for preparing a few high-energy pedorglances to mu-
sic as an example of movement and exercise. Above, the Hu-
ron Heartbeats from Exeter Public School dazzled with their
complicated skipping routines in the morning's finale.
Above, a group from Usborne
Central School performed to
"Limbo Rock" and showed
how it was done.
At top right, Kim Wegg and
Kali Wegg of McCurdy Public
School performed a high-
energy dance number for the
large audience.
At right, Jamie Bengough,
Kim Kuiper, and Denise Hu-
ston from Hensall Public
School proved that skipping
really can keep you airborne.
At left, a group from Hensalll
Public School dances to "I
Saw the Sign".
