ZURICH - Rose Erb bowled
174,215 and 188 single games for a
577 triple to score 121 pins over
her 152 Monday night ladies league
average to lead her team mates to
victory in the three game, pins over
average, TelRoutelScore Holiday
Classic Zurich 5 -Pin Bowlers' As-
sociation rolloffs at Town and
Country Lanes recently. Seven
teams participated.
Judy Steuer, Edna Mielke and
Sandra Dickert added 63, 45 and 29
pins over their respective 171,176
and 218 average while Sherrie Ed-
wards scored 55 under her 192 av-
erage as their Monday night team
won the TelRoute/Score Zurich As-
sociation title with 203 pins over
their combined averages.

designated location.
Zurich Town and Country's
Youth Bowling Council (YBC)
Bantam (age 10 and under) league
will qualify two girls and two boys
to bowl three games, pins over av-
erage, with OMBA bowlers Bev
and Mike Cregan in the Bluewater
Regional. Winning teams advance
to the OMBA Provincial Master
Bantam April 1 at Hamilton.
flowlathon `95 gets
extra support
ZURICH - The South Huron
Girls' Field Hockey team has taken
uP a challenge to help raise funds
for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. The
Provincial Champions will be seek-
ing pledges for Bowlathon '95 and
they hope for a generous response.
Along with area firemen, munici-
pal leaders, volunteers, service
clubs, representatives from busi-
ness, industry and education,
"Gigs" and "Littles" and other in-
terested and faithful supporters the
team will be trying to reach a goal
of $15,000.
Members of the various bowling
leagues in Zurich and Lucan are
again key players in this annual
fund raiser and they will be seeking
sponsors as well.
"We've had terrific support from
the community for the past fourteen
years", said Jim Chapman, Bowla-
thon Committee Chair, "and we're
confident that it will continue."
The team will be bowling along
with other celebrity bowlers on
Sunday, February 19 in Zurich. The
league bowlers will be bowling
their game during the week in Zu-,
rich or Lucan.
