Brenda became a club professional and taught in Zurich, Clinton and Seaforth until 1992. She is now a school teacher and mother. Ir Laurie Prout (Loosley) of Exeter and her partner Bill Sciver of London participated in the Canadian Figure Skating Championships in Kitchener in 1980 and placed 6th in Novice Dance. Laurie skated with the Exeter club from 1967-81 under the direction of Brad Loosley and Carole Robinson. or Elsie Swan (Kaubert) our special Olympian is in her 4th season with the club. She placed second in her category at the Winter Special Olympics in Austria in 1993. Her local coach at the time was Carole Robinson assisted by Lorrie Hrudka. or Rebecca Jennison has made Exeter her home club for the past two years. Her former pro was Marg Carey and she is now being coached by Jeff Loosley, Lynn Nightingale and John Bauman. Her achievements are as follows: • March 1993 - gold in pre -novice pro -all Ontario; • November 1993 - gold in Western Ontario Sectionals juvenile; • March 1994 - gold in Senior Bronze - all Ontario; • Fall 1994 - Silver in Pre -Novice at the W.O.S.. or Donald Broadfoot has been skating with the Exeter club for more than 10 years. Former coaches to Donald have been Jeff Loosley, Brenda Pincombe (Vivian) and Debbie Naujokitis. He is presently being coached by Marg Carey here and Scott Rachuk at the Lucan club. Scott also introduced him to hockey and skate sharpening. • Donald won silver in the artistic category at the all - Ontario Inter -club competition in 1991. He has passed his seventh figure and he completed his last gold dance in Lucan in July 1994 partnered by Alma Moir of Merton, who partnered all his gold dances. Donald holds his National Certification Program Level 1 certified and enjoys partnering dances and editing music for skating. He plans to pursue a career relating to skating. r4" Mandy Jennison, a senior skater in the local club just completed her gold dances. She is coached by Jeff Loosley. Kim MacLean, another senior skater in our club skates competitively and is also coached by Jeff Loosley.
