But 1 couldn't go to sleep

All 1 wanted. a peek
That's when i saw him

The next thing 1 knew
I was lying in bed,
1 sprang out of led
And ran to the tree
• 1 knew it wasn't a dream
It couldn't have been
I looked around
For traces of Claus
As 1 ran past the fireplace

. There on the mantle
Was a shiny bell
And beside it -
There was a card as well
I picked up the bell
And soil aside
Opened the card
And read what was inside
"The bell is a,gift
Prom me to you
Because you believe

i climbed into bed
Very satisfied
Even though I was still
Utterly mystified
