North Pole gent greeted by sunny spectators during Exeter Santa Claus Parade
EXETER - A bevy of onlookers
got into the Christmas spirit by lin-
ing Main St. for this year's Exeter
Santa Claus Parade on Saturday.
"The parade was the biggest and
most successful we've ever had,"
commentator John Dinney said.
The Exeter Business Association
kicked in $2,500 for the parade
with the Exeter Lions Club picking
up the rest of the bill. The Lions
also organized the parade and paid
the rent for the free public skate.
The Exeter Optimist Club paid for
the kids treats.

hest overall -Centralia Home Hard-
ware; honorable mentions -Andrea's
Dance Studio and Nabisco.
The parade will be aired on chble
channel 12 through Emmar>,uel Tel-
evision Ministries on Dec. 7 at
noon, Dec. 8 at 8 p.m., Dec. 14 at
noon. Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. and Dec.
21 at noon.
Christmas wishes. Santa Claus made the trip to Exeter
for the annual parade in his honor on Saturday.

the most impressive during the Exeter Santa Claus Parade on Saturday. ,

on Saturday as one of the pleasurable duties of being Huron County's '97/98 Queen of the
