Flaxseed oil contains alpha -linolenic acid which is converted to an omega-3 fatty acid in the body. These are the compounds that are purported to lower triglycerides and have anti-inflammatory and anti -blood -clotting effects. Coffee is generally not recommended for anyone with gastric ulcers, heartburn or sleeping problems.
