Thursday, November 6th - Poppy Campaign begins
between 6-9_p.m., with a door to door canvass in
Hensall. The support of the public for the annual/
Poppy Appeal will be greatly appreciated. -
Sunday, November 9th- Remembrance Service
All Veterans, members, ladies auxiliary, Hensall and
Area residents are cordially invited to attend our
service at the Hensall Presbyterian Church at 9:45
a.m. Medals to be worn.
Meet at the Legion Hall at 9:30 a.m. and parade to
Church. After the Church service, the parade will_go to •
the Cenotaph for the laying of wreaths. and the Last
Post.- • -
Following this cerernony;'refreshments will be served
by the Ladies Auxiliary. We trust that members ofthe
community and area will make a ,special effort to
attend these services.
Tuesday, Nov. llth - Remembrance Day
The annual Banquet will be held at the Hensall
Community.Centre. Social -6:00-p.m., Dinner - 7:00.'
p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Stan McDonald:

Sunday, November 9th- Branch #167 will be having a
parade on this date to the Cenotaph and onwards'to the
Exeter United Church. The parade forms.up at 9:30
a.m. at the Branch and marches to the Cenotaph at
9:40 am. At the Cenotaph we will have the Memorial
Service and laying of wreaths, after which we will ..
march to the Exeter United Church to take part in their
service. Following fhis service we will perade.back to
the Branch. past the reviewing stand. At the Branch the
Ladies Auxiliary will have a lunch made for all -
-- participants. Fellowship -will follow. All members and
friends are welcome to take part in_these services. The
Town of Exeter has•assured us that Main Street will be
• blocked off for our Cenotaph Service.
Tuesday, Nov. llth - School visits
Services will be held"at all local schools, starting with
S.H.D.H.S. at 9 a.m. All veterans, -members and Ladies
Auxiliary, who wish to take. part should meet at the
Branch by 8:30 a.m. Please check with. your local
school for service times.
Tues., Nov. 11th - Remembrance -Day Banquet - The
banquet will be held at the Branch with Claus Breede,
Curator of Huron-Ceunty Museum as the guest -
speaker. -Social 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., with supper starting at
6:30 p.m. Tickets are £8, and are availableto all
veterans. members. spouses and guests. Ticketswill be .
