EXETER - Exeter Seniors held
their regular monthly meeting on
October 7 at the Legion Hall. The
hall was decorated with
Thanksgiving theme, along with
Hallowe'en. Singing of Grace
before everyone enjoyed a
delicious pot luck dinner.
After dinner President Lila Ellis
opened regular meeting with 0
Canada followed by the Lords
Prayer and a one Minute silence in
remembrance of Princess Diana.

Minutes of the last meeting were
read and approved.
Olga Davis read the treasurers
report.
A letter of thanks was read from
Donna Paynter to the women who
served at the Hospital Auxiliary
Conference held at Exeter Legion.
A letter was read concerning
abuse to women and what kind of
abuse you should be concerned
about. Get .well card was sent to
Harry Beavers.
Mary Ford gave a report on the
bus trip. Also a bus will he leaving
on October 25 for the London
races, It leaves the Legion at 5 p.m.
