Reports were heard from " all the standing committees. Mrs. Gordon Bender gave DashWood Mrs. Is -visit Rader a report of the district executive meeting held at Hensall. Dashwood WI is to be responsible for the morning entertainment at the District Annual May 21 at Seaforth United church. The meeting was turned over to Mrs. Sid Baker who presided for the election of officers. The nominating committee, Mrs. Valentine Becker, Mrs_ . Mildred Kellerman and Mrs. Ralph Weber gave their report which was accepted. The new officers are: past president, Mrs. Eben Weigand; president, Mrs. Gordon Bender; vice- presidents, Mrs. Harold Carroll and . A gift was presented to Mrs. Eben Weigand and thanks extended for her three years as president: The Dashwood and area medical centre committee held a special meeting Tuesday, April 7 at which time it was unanimously. agreed that the plan for an addition to the medical building for a public library be cancelled. The committee met with the Stephen township council and two members of Hay Township council regarding business relating to the building of the Dashwood and Area Medical Centre.
