We discussed the
requirements of -the project
anddetermined our sewing
ability. Thenwe took our
body measurements and
determined our correct
pattern size. Our leaders
showed us some different
styles of vests and some
samples of interfacing.
We had a quiz to test our
metric I.Q. and our scores
were pretty good. The home
activity was to get our
pattern and fabric. 1 •

The second meeting was
on February 9. Wedecided to
name our club "Thrifty
Threaders".
Next we read our roll call,
then .figured out the . cost of
our garments. We read the
lesson and looked at the
parts of the sewing machine.
Last of all was pin fitting to
make sure the pattern fit.
