Sherry Chuter was elected president; the phone girls are Peggy Van Wonderen Varna • by Miry Cbeassal and Laura Roy; and we decided to have a floating secretary. Thenwe took our body measurements and determined our correct pattern size. Our leaders showed us some different styles of vests and some samples of interfacing. We had a quiz to test our metric I.Q. and our scores were pretty good. The home activity was to get our pattern and fabric. 1 • by Lori Hayter The second meeting was on February 9. Wedecided to name our club "Thrifty Threaders". Next we read our roll call, then .figured out the . cost of our garments. We read the lesson and looked at the parts of the sewing machine.
