The crowd of over seventy- five persons became totally enthralled in the ambitious production dialogue from the villainous `Mayhem Mar- maduke' erupted the crowd with 'boos and jeers', with spontaneous cheers and applause being saved for the good -guys like Rodney Stoutheart. The well acted and easy to follow play was broadcast well by the actors, making it a delight for everyone in attendance. The weather was almost perfect, with a breeze blowing in off the lake on the audience seated on lawn chairs and laying on blankets on the ground in front of the set. As the evening wore on, more curious onlookers happened by, and once caught up in the play, couldn't leave without hearing the ending, 'a twist to the familiar story line. As. the action reached its climax, the sun dipped behind a rising storm front over the lake casting its tell tale shadows on 'Mumberly Manor' creating an image of impending doom on the `Suffolk' family. However riotous applause and laughter abounded - as the play ended with a chase scene throughout the audience with the good -guys getting their man. Everybody had a smile on their face. It was top notch en- tertainment, and not enough can be said for this theatrical group for bringing these plays to places like Bayfield. Those people that opted to stay home and watch T.V.on Saturday made the --'Wrong choice.
