26th year. Beloved husband of

Jean (Taylor) Armstrong of RR

his late residence 233 Butler St.
Lucan on Thursday, November
29, 1964 in his 71st year. He is sur-
vived by his wife Helen I Dickins)
MacDonald, one son Howard.
daughters. (Joyce) Mrs. Peter
Sovereign both of Lucan and
Hazel MacDonald of Palmerston.
A sister (Mary ) Mrs. Tom Kooy
of Centralia Four grandchildren
Ferlin and Leanne Sovereign,
Laulalee and Jason MacDonald
all of Lucan. He was predeceased
by a grandson Faron Sovereign. a
sister Lena and a brother
William. He was the son of the
late Alex and Minnie i Davis)
MacDonald of Saintsbury. He
farmed for many years on the
family farm on the 4th of Bid-
dulph. He later moved to Lucan
and was a carpenter by trade.
When his work took him to Grand
Bend he lived there for some
time, returning to his home in
Lucan upon retirement. He was a
faithful member of Holy Trinity
Anglican Church Lucan. The
funeral which was held from
Haskett Funeral Home was large-
ly attended. Interment was at St.
James Cemetery, Clandeboye.
Pallbearers were grandson Ferlin
Sovereign, nephews Gordon Noels
and Clayton Kooy and friends

and Hugh Davis. Flower bearers

Agricrews hit the farm
The new Winter Agricrew is
now in action, with three
crews working on area farms.
David Risk is the foreman for
the Markdale crew. Paul
Alexander for the Walkerton
crew, and Steve Kennedy be-
ing foreman for the Kincar-
dine two man crew.
So far, the crews have been
busy tearing down barns, cut-
ting wood, cleaning broiler
barns, and spreading
manure. Response is starting
to pick up dramatically. as
farmers realize how many
jobs have yet to, be done this
fall.
These crews are all hard
working, and eager to work
for interested farmers in the
counties of Grey, Bruce, and

Saints Hamilton now directs St. John's
choir.

per crew is $50.00 and $90.00
respective and two man and
four man crews to cover an
eight hour working day.
