Beaver and Irvin Martin, the
coaches for the Bantam boys,
presented Bill Vandeworp the
M.V.P., Richard Voogel, the
M.I.P. and M.S.P. to Doug
Campbell. Trophies were also
presented to all the boys. The
midget team coached by Mike
Rau and Bernie Denomme
awarded M.V.P. to D'Arcy
Martin, M.I.P. to Dwayne
Butler and M.S.P. to Brian
Steckle.
The midget team also
received individual trophies
and the W.O.A.A. 1984 crest.

held their annual pot luck din-
ner at Dashwood Community
Centre. Approximately 200
people had a very enjoyable
time to close their baseball
year. The afternoon started
with Lynda Arnold, 1984 vice-
president, requesting Rev.
Campbell to say Grace. After
the meal Lynda thanked Don
O'Rourke, the 1984 president.

The Dashwood Men's Club
held their annual Hallowe'en
dance Saturday evening
where a large crowd was
entertained by the music of
'"Free Wheelin". Most of the
crowd were in customes with
the following theme prizes
awarded: the most original ,
Mike and Karen Tiernan and
Dave and Nancy Rader; the
best dressed couple, Jim and
Donna Hoffman; the funniest,
Glen Restemayer; best
Hallowe'en theme, Bill and
Ginger Weber. The night was
enjoyed by all.

town hall during a bazaar conducted by the Christian Reformed Church ladies. At
the large table with their wares are Trudy Van Wieren, Jane VanWieren, Lida

Dies in Lucan
Clandeboye man fixed windmills
Sympathy is extended to
Elmora Raycraft in the sud-
den death of her husband,
Louie Raycraft, a long time
resident of the Clandeboye
community. Louie's life work
was repairing windmills and
pumps, a trade that has near-
ly disappeared.
In September of this year,
they disposed of their proper-
ty in Clandeboye with plans to
spend the winter in California
where they had enjoyed
several winters in the past.
The Raycrafts had been liv-
ing in an apartment on water
St., Lucan, since last
December.
The funeral took place on
Saturday from the Haskett
Funeral Home, Lucan, with
interment in St. James
Cemetery, Clandeboye. Rev.
Keith Brown, of Lucan United
Church, officiated.
Pallbearers were, Paul
Hodgins, Ed and Paul
Groenewegen, Dave Har-
rigan, Wayne Hodgins and
Kevin Hutchinson.

Clandeboye No. 3 club,
"The Easy Riders", have
held four meetings so far.
They have been doing fitness
exercises and have tried
several nutritious recipes.
There are 11 members in the
Fun Fare Club.
