for the Mentally Handicapped
to co-ordinate the Financiol and Program Ad-
ministration of its diverse and expending services
for handicapped children and odults. The successful
candidate will participate actively in developing and
promoting the overall goals of this orgonizotion
which is one of Canada's largest rural Associations
for the Mentally Handicapped. Duties will include
the co-ordination of direct and indirect specialized
services within the overall system of service delivery
utilizing the resources of the Ministry of Communi-
ty and Social Services and the community agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced training in working with social, educa-
tional, and or heolth programs acquired through a
graduate or post graduate degree program in Social
Sciences or related discipline from a University of
recognized standing. Demonstrated leodership skills
and initiative, high level communication and admin-
istrative skills, indepth understanding of current
issues in the field of mental retardation, proven ef-
fectiveness in the management of stoff and direct
services; experience in examining new approaches
to training, treatment, funding and development of
services for children and adults; sound organizo-
tionol ability.
