county plowing match.
Three of the one dozen
classes faded to attract any
contestants to the Sylvan
farm of Doug Glenn.
Participating in the plowing
competition were three com-
petitors for the honour of be-
ing Middlesex Queen of the
Furrow at the 1985 Interna-
tional Plowing Match.

Margaret Giles is the reigning
queen.
This year's three con-
testants are Karen Peterson
who won the title a couple of
years ago, Antje Seegelken
who was Miss Ilderton Fair in
1982 and Anna McCallum.
The new queen will be
crowned Friday night at the
Middlesex Plowmen's
Association banquet at the
Delaware Community
Centre.

events, Albert Clarke was the
winner in the horses open
