1t certainly is nice to start
off the week with a sunny day.
Perhaps the residents will be
able to take their daily walks
and sit in the sun for a few
weeks longer.
We welcome Mrs.
Genevieve Ducharme and
Mrs. Mary McLay back from
the hospital, but regret that
Mrs. Olive Andrew is a pa-
tient in South Huron Hospital,
Exeter.
We appreciate the interest
of the various people who
have been donating materials
of one sort and another for the
hobby shop. Many of the
ladies will be starting their
quilting projects for the
winter. If you have cuttings
from quilt batts which you
might be discarding, we could
make good use of them.
On Thursday morning, two
of the teachers from the
Huron Hope School brought
three of their children to visit
with residents here. 1 am sure
it is good for the residents to
have these children to lavish
a bit of attention on, and for
the children to have a change
of scenery.
Residents who were out
visiting during the week were
Mrs. Valeria Armstrong,
Mrs. Ruby Hoggarth, Ray
McKinnon, Loftus Denomme
and Aaron Gingerich.
Bingo was played on Friday
evening followed by
refreshments.
The Sunday evening chapel
service was conducted by Mr.
Edgar Cudmore of Exeter.
