CENTRAL NEWS
Grandparent's tales - Last
term the grade 4-5 class was
doing a unit on Grandparent's
Tales. We were the first class
to ever do this unit in Social
Studies. Grandparent's Tales
is a unit that gives you a
chance to see the change
since your grandparents were
children. This term our
teacher arranged to have pen
pals that were from the
Craigholme.
We have been exchanging
letters with them. April 16 we
are going to Craigholme to
see them. When I looked
through my book! found that
we were luckier in some ways
and they were luckier in
others. I hope we do this unit
again next year. I have learn-
ed a lot about my grand-
parent. Our teacher, Miss
Walker is real nice because
she let us do this unit. (Paul
