After a brief talk, he showed three films entitled "Safety on Our School Buses," "Rags to Riches" about a horse from Scotland and "Close Har- mony" about a music teacher. These films blended with each other and showed the age gap between children and seniors. This could be bridged with more involve- ment, as shown in the last film. Pastor Campbell closed with prayer after Vera Brown thanked their guest. Catholic news Father Morrissey celebrated all weekend masses and his message was based on the story of Lazarus, the man whom Jesus raised from the dead. His sisters wondered why Jesus didn't come sooner. Why did he have to die. We've always had trou- ble understanding such tragedies as sickness, fires, accidents and death, but we must remember God's ways. We must have patience for clock -watching can destroy our faith. Remember in God's own time, Lazarus was not only healed, but he was rais- ed from the grave. Congratulations to Geoffrey Raymond Kelders, the son of John and Vicki (nee Gooding), who was received into the Catholic community by the Sacrament of Baptism. Please remember in your prayers, the soul of Father Marcel LeBoef, the Pastor of Holy Angel Church, in St. Thomas, who died very sud- denly last week. Please pray for the soul of Antans Iskauskas, father of Ed from this parish, who died recently. Sutton's sermon was Ezekiel 37:1-14, wherein following God's in- structions, Ezekiel's pro- phesies bring together the dry bones in the valley, puts flesh on them and the breath of life into them. Like some people in this age, people whose lives have no hope, and no purpose, just drift through life from day to day with every day be- ing the same. Like Ezekiel, we should try to project by the example of'our lives, the love, faith and belief that is necessary to provide the spirit of God that makes one's life meaningful. Mary and Chuck Wallen welcomed the congregation. .After the service, refreshments"were served,by Ruth McIntosh and Rita Rainham.
