Waxers in Buffalo
The Exeter novice Waxers
came up against very severe
competition in the Buffalo
Pepsi Invitational Tourna-
ment of Champions. The Ex-

coming away with a win in the
opening game. The Waxers
were matched against triple
A all-star teams for all 4hrp,ee

that could have been
categorized as a State all-star
team from new Jersey.
Saturday saw the Waxers •
defeat the Cazenovia All-stars
4-2. Ryan Stuart and Ian Jean
were named first and third
stars of the game
respectively. -. _ _ The afternoon game Satur-

from four area teams. Exeter
fell behind quickly from the
start and could not recover.
Shawn Webster was named
the game's second star in the
5-1 loss.
Sunday saw the Waxers
face the Depew Saints from
Buffalo. Although the Waxers
lost 4-3, it was by far the
strongest game probably of
the year and a very fitting
way to conclude a satisfying
season. Scott Parsons and Ian
Jean were standouts with
work along the boards. Dar-
ren Kints gave a superlative
performance in goal and held
the Waxers in the game.

ing the trip to Buffalo were:
