Always you will live in my heart.

John, November 5, 1982.
Dear Uncle Bill ( via God in
Heaven):
We didn't get much time to spend
together 'cause you went away in
my early years. .but 1 still
remember the fun things you us-
ed to do, like play your guitar and
sing 'kids' songs to me (we sure
used to laugh a lot). I miss you a
whole bunch Uncle Bill...but keep
on 'pickin' 'cause someday we'll
be able to sing those songs again.
Love, Jule Joy.
P.S. Sure hope God is taking good
care of you. 45c

John, Our loving brother-in-law
who left us suddenly one year ago
on November 5, 1982.
There are no words that can ex-
press
xpress the emptiness your 'moving
on' has left in our lives!! The
memory of your smiling face and
your special ways will remain in
our hearts and thoughts forever.
Love, Judy and Len.
P.S. Sure hope you have Heaven
prepared for "The Eagles." 45c
HUMPHREYS — Treasured
memories of a wonderful hus-
band, dad and grandfather,
Thomas Humphreys who passed
away November 14, 1976.
If we had one lifetime wish,
One dream that could come true,
We would pray to God with all our
hearts,
For yesterday and you.
If teardrops were a stairway,
And memories were a lane,
We'd walk all the way to Heaven
Dad,
And bring you home again.
A thousand times we needed you,
A thousand times we cried,
If love could have saved you, Dad,
You never would have died.
But God took your hand and we
had to part,
He eased your pain and broke our
hearts.
You fell asleep without good-bye,
But memories of you shall never
die.
Loved and missed so very -much
by wife Betty, son and daughter-
in-law Tom and Phyllis, grand-
children Tom, Terry and Tracy.

SHYC RALLY
South Huron Youth for
Christ held their November
Rally on November 5th in
Brucefield school with a good
attendance. Director Bob
Heywood chaired the rally,
several choruses were sung,
and Bob led in prayer. Quizz-
ing started for this year on
2nd Timothy Chapter 1. Next
rally will be on 2nd Timothy
Chapter 2.
Teams taking pai t were
from Exeter, Goderich,
Bayfield and Zurich. This is
most interesting as they
answer 20 questions. As this
also was "Fun Night" the
youth enjoyed volleyball and
floor hockey. The adults en-
joyed crokinole. Rev.Austin
Gedke from Goderich
Pentecostal Church was guest
speaker and brought a very
inspiring message. His text
was taken from Joshua 24
verse 15 "Choose You this
Day who ye will serve." His
theme was "Making Deci-
sions". He challenged the
youth to make right decisions.
He closed with prayer for the
youth. Everyone then enjoyed
cermet popcorn and apple
juice.
The December rally will be
held at the school on
December 3. Special speaker
will be Rev. Wes Aarum from
Machus, New York, who
operates a youth camp during
the summer months. Special
music is being supplied.
Come and bring your family
and your friends.
TO HIRE PLANNER
The void left in the Huron
County planning department
by senior planner Roman
Dzus' departure for another
position will be filled byi a
junior planner.
Citing difficulty in attrac
ting a senior planner with
seven or eight years ex-
perience to Huron County and
the fact that it might not be
necessary to hire another
senior planner, county coun-
cil approved advertising for a
junior planner at its
November 3 meeting.
The planning and develop-
ment committee's report to
county council indicates a
senior planner with seven or
eight years experience would
be in a $24,570 to $32,812
salary range whereas a junior
planner, under the present
salary schedule, would have
a salary range of $19,110 to
$24,310.
The decision to go with hir-
ing another junior planner
followed consideration of two
other alternatives. One was to
replace Dzus' position as
senior planner and the other
was to hire a contract
planner.
it is expected the new
junior planner would be on
staff by January 1, 1984.

volunteered to care for the
bed and say they have been
planning the planting of the
bed for next year.
Reeve Robert Bell
presented the Smiths with a
large framed coloured picture
of the flowerbed and told
them of the many com-
pliments given for the bed
which made such an attrac-
tive entrance to the hamlet.
The engineering firm of
B.M. Ross, Goderich will in-
vestigate several hook-ups at
Vanastra Water system
which were not correctly
done.
Considerable time was
spent discussing several
municipal drains. It was a
'talk' meeting rather than an
'action' meeting as two coun-
cillors were absent - George
Cantelon and John
Brownridge. The latter was
present for the last few
minutes of the meeting.
