A news story in the Mitchell Advocate last week in- dicated the Mitchell Hawks are folding. Bert McMann who has been the ,ti1itchell manager for more than 10 years made the announcement citing the lack of players as the main reason for disbanding. McMann continued. Several of last year's players are going away to school." The Mitchell manager said any of the Hawks players who want to go to Seaforth to play may do so. The Mitchell Hawks won the 1967 O11AJunior D championship. McMann said he hoped the Hawks ex- ecutive could be kept intact and help in furthing minor hockey in Mitchell.
