passed away 3 years ago, August
19, 1980.
Little I knew when 1 woke that
morning,
The sorrow that day would bring,
The call was sudden, the shock
severe,
To part with one I loved so dear.
I didn't have time to say farewell,
Or you to say goodbye,
You had gone before 1 realized
And only God knows why,
I think of you in silence
I often speak your name,
And all I have are memories.
And my heart still aches with
sadness
My silent tears still flow,
For what it meant to lose you, -
No one will ever know.
Sadly missed and remembered by

Gent made a father so loving and

Til God reached out and took
dad's hand.
And led him to that Promised
Land,
It's lonely here without you Dad
And it's hard for us 10 see
What he suffered he told but few
Ile didn't deserve what he went
through
Tired and weary he made no fuss.
