The Best Present
Ever
By Rebekah Dinney

Two year old Justin
Ross and his mom,
Sherrie, went to see Santa
at the mall. When they
got there, Justin asked for
a toy convertible car he
always wanted. Santa
said, "I don't know about
that one, Justin, it might
be too hard for the elves
to make". Justin's heart
was broken. He went
home and cried himself to
sleep.
It was the day before
Christmas, and Justin was
very sad, so he started to
watch the movie
"Munchkins", then he
went to bed. Santa Claus
came, and gave Justin
what he wanted, then left.
He had thought about it,
and decided it was the
right thing to do.
In the morning, Justin
ran downstairs to the liv-
ing room and opened all
his presents. There was
only one present left. He.
opened it, and yelled,
"Yes, I got my toy con-
vertible car!" From that
day on, he was very
happy.

Santa Claus:
Are your reindeer tired
of pulling the sleigh?
Well, I have a sleigh that
is computerized and that
has silver jets. The red
button turns on the jets.
The green buttons have
letters on them so you can
just put in the child's
name and you're there
Ina second.
It is a red sleigh with sil-
ver jets and silver run-
ners. It is quieter than a
piece of cotton hitting the
floor.
Santa, there are three
reasons to buy my sleigh.
It will give your reindeer
a rest, you will get the job
done faster and it will
also let you get ready to
enjoy the new millenni-
um.
Christmas

Parents hanging beautiful
bows, .
Christmas time is near,
Jesus soon will be coming
here,
Joseph walked a long,
long way,
Jesus was born in a place
with hay,
The three wise men fol-
lowed the stars that night,
Neither one of them had a
fright,
The shepherds wanted to
look at Jesus' beautiful
eyes,
With Jesus' lovely cries,
So Christmas time is com-
ing near,
Prepare for Jesus, he Is
here.

Christmas is just a,ljzmd the corner and I can't wait!
All of the joyful, memories that I have and I will have
are starting to fill my head. Christmas is my favourite
holiday because 1 love to go to relatives houses and
spend timeewith them. Oh, and let's not forget the pre-
sents. But Witting the presents aside for a minute,
Christmas is when a wonderful thing happened. Baby
Jesus was born. I think that it is important that we
remember that.
Christmas is also a time for loving and caring for oth-
ers. It makes me feel warm and happy inside when I
donate money or presents for people who cannot
afford things for Christmas. When I also think about
Christmas, I think about snow. Snowmobiling and
tobogganing are also fun things we can do around
Christmas time.
There are just so many warm and .happy thoughts
that I have about Christmas. Like baking cookies and
eating them: One thing I don't enjoy about Christmas is
cleaning. But with all of my Christmas spirit I can man-
age not being too down when I clean. Another thing I
love about Christmas is all the Christmas songs, espe-
cially "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer". Whenever I
hear that song, it always makes me feel happy.
Another thing that I think everyone has precious
memories of is putting up the Christmas tree. I love
putting up all of the decorations my sister and I made
when we were little and finding that old clay nativity
set we made. Let's not forget Christmas shopping. Now
it may leave your wallet empty, but just think of all the
happy faces of your family when they receive their
Then there is all of the Christmas movies and t.v.
shows. It just makes me feel so mucic more in the
Christmas spirit when I see them. All in all, Christmas
is my favourite time of the year .for just so many rea-
sons. .
LETTERS TO` SANTA
Dear Santa:
I have been a good boy this year.
So I would really like a toy truck for

Melcoim.
Thanks Santa.
