Sparing, Gr. 4 Huron Centennial School I am Joseph. I had to walk with Mary and the donkey. I had to walk all that way, but I would walk all that way for Mary. Then we arrived in Bethlehem. We asked the innkeeper if there was a place to stay but he said no, there isn't any room. He told us there was a stable out back. So I took Mary out to the stable, and got the baby a manger to sleep in. Once the baby was born, there was a bright star shining in the sky. The shepherds knew that Jesus was born and came to see him. The wise kings arrived with gifts for Jesus. If I had been alive I would have liked to bring Jesus a gift.
