Local school volleyball teams competed in the recent
South Huron elementary volleyball tournament at the
rec centre in Huron Park. Happy winners in the boys
competition were members of the Exeter Public
School team pictured above. In front from left are

OPP busy after first winter blast
The first winter storm of the season
early last week had some OPP detach-
ments busy cleaning up accidents while
others found it was business as usual.
The Lambton County OPP responded
to 26 minor accidents with three featur-
ing minor injuries.
The London OPP received only six
accident reports after the snowfall,

calls involved a man who's car slid off
the road on the Roman Line. The man
received minor injuries.
The OPP urge motorists to listen to
their local radio stations for road condi-
tions rather than tie up the OPP lines
that are meant for dispatch purposes.
