By Craig Bradford TIMES ADVOCATE STAFF EXETER — Those push- ing for a new Exeter library may get more than they bargained for. At last week's meeting, Huron County council found out the planned 4,700 sq. ft. new library was half as big as what an economic impact study and the population served showed. Stratford architect Terry Marklevitz, county head librarian Beth Ross and Exeter chief administra- tive officer Rick Hundey will try to find ways to reduce the 9,800 sq: ft. figure down to between 6,000-7,000 sq. ft. They l do that icy cut- ting reader seating areas and staff working spaces as well as shelving plans for the library to have its own washrooms and meeting spaces. Since the new library plans has it attached to town hall, library users will be able to use the town hall's existing wash- rooms and conference rooms.
