coach Terry O'Rourke.
His team went one for
three 'over the two day
tourney, losing their first
two games and winning
their last game. •

EXETER - The Exeter Claybird Gun
Club held it's annual trap and skeet
shoot on Saturday and Sunday,
September 18 and 19. Also year-end

Cents continue downward slide
WALLACEBURG -- The
Exeter Centennials men's
soccer team came up on
the wrong end of the
score sheet last week
despite playing well dur-
ing two games versus
Wallaceburg.
At Wallaceburg on
Friday, the Cents lost a
WOSL First Division
league game 3-2.
Exeter went ahead 1-0
with a perfect placed free
kick by Luke Sims from
just outside the 18 -yard
box.
Wallaceburg came
charging back to score
twice .before the end of
the first half and went up
3-1 within 10 minutes of
the second half.
The Cents didn't give up
and scored. with 20 min-
utes left in regulation
time when Peter
McAllister put the ball
behind the Wallaceburg
goalkeeper with a well
placed head ,ball.
Exeter dominated the
last 20 minutes of the
game but Wallaceburg
managed to hang on for
the win.
Centennials coach John
Rasenberg said "emotions
were expressed" at the
end of the game.and a
slight scuffle broke out.
None if- any sanctions
from the league} were
known at press for the
fracas,
Those emotions may
`have been boiling since
Exeter also lost - the First ,
Division' Cup .final to
Wallaceburg 1-0 at the
London Portuguese Field
on Sept. 14.
After playing a scoreless
first half, Exeter carried '
the play in the second half
but was unable to finish.
The game remained a 0-0
tie after regulation time.
Wallaceburg notched
the winning goal 10 min-
utes into extra time.

fun volleyball action while benefitting the Stephen
Twp. Arena Expansion Project with a co-ed recre-
ational tournament on Nov. 5-6.
Sponsored by the . Stephen Twp. Arena Board, the
event will be held at the Stephen Twp. Rec Centre.
Cost is $100 per team. Teams are asked to bring
their own warm-up ball and each team will be
requested to referee. Teams must have be a mini -
mum of three women on the court during games.

EXETER -- Internet surfers with a love of mar
arts might have been out of luck last week.
The website address for Shahan Brian Decker of
South Huron Martial Arts featured in an ad in the
Times -Advocate last week was incorrect. The correct
