Access Centre
for Huron
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Notice is hereby given that the Community Care Access Centre
(CCAC) for Huron has five (5) upcoming vacancies on their Board
of Directors. Therefore we are seeking applicants for nomination
to the Board. Directors serve in a volunteer capacity.
The CCAC for Huron is a health care agency funded by the
Ministry of Health which provides residents of Huron County with
quality health care services in the home and community, and
assistance with placement in Long -Term Care facilities.
Applications can be made by completing and submitting an
application form obtained at the address below. Applicants must
be Members of the CCAC for at least ten (10) days to be
nominate- for election. Therefore non-members must submit a $5
membership fee along with their application form by Friday, Sept.
17th at 4:30 p.m. Current members must submit their application
form by Friday, Sept. 24th at 4:30 p.m.
Should an election by necessary, it will be held at the Annual
General Meeting of the CCAC for Huron on Tuesday, Sept. 28th
at 7:00 p.m. at the CCAC, in the Central Huron Secondary
School, at 163 Princess St. E. in Clinton. All CCAC Members and
the general public are welcome to attend. However, only CCAC
Members with voting privileges can vote in an election for
Directors.
