crash at Airport Line and
County Rd. 83 one kilo-
metre west of Exeter on
Aug. 25 at about 7:15
p.m. -
Stephanie 'McCue and
Christopher Baxter, both
18, remain in critical con-
dition at London Health
Sciences Centre's South.
St. campus.
McCue and Baxter were
passengers in a car dri-
ven by Ryan Murphy, 20,
of Goderich. Murphy's car
was northbound on
Airport Line as a car dri-
ven by Heinz Frciter, 69,
of Pontypool was west-
bound on #83. London
OPP Const. Doug Graham
said there is a Stop sign
on Airport Line "protect-
ing" #83. The vehicles
collided in the intersec-
tion. a,
Murphy was taken to
South Huron Hospital
with non -life threatening
injuries. Freiter and his
passenger, Paula Luettel,
82, of Germany were also
taken to. 'South Huron
Hospital where they were
treated for minor injuries.
Murphy is charged with
fail to yield to traffic on
through highway under
the Highway Traffic Act.
Exeter man
bitten by dog
EXETER — The Huron
County Health Unit is
looking for the owners
of a mixed -breed puppy
which bit an Exeter man
on Aug. 26.
Public health inspector
John Orr of the Health
Unit said the biting inci-
dent happened on Main
Street near the LCBO.
when the man tried to
help the dog which was
trying to cross the
street. When the man
picked up the dog, it bit
him and ran off.
Orr said the Health
Unit needs to find the
dog's owners so the dog
can be quarantined and
checked for rabies.
