The Show Stoppers team won the 'A' title at the Stephen Township Arena/Centralia-Huron Park Lions Club
co-ed slo-pitch tournament at Centralia and Crediton diamonds on the weekend. Front left:Tina Glavin,

Speedway Friday and what
a night it was.
In the Allsport Junior
Micro Sprint 'B' division it
was the #73 of Brett
Vodden from Port Franks
(Hi Tech Auto Care) and
the #28 of Robbie Shipway
from Ailsa Craig (Grogan
Ford) picking up heat race
wins. In the feature we saw
Shipway take the lead
away from the #19 of
Mitchell Stutt on the last
lap and coast to victory
lane.
In the Allsport Junior
Micro Sprint 'A' division we
saw the #17 of Kristen
Harris from Mount Brydges
and #24 of Steven Stewart
from London (JFJ Auto
Sales) capturing heat race
wins.
The feature was full of
excitement from green to
checkered and all through
out the race. Spectators
were treated to three -wide
racing and a heated battle
between the leaders. The
#20 of Nicholas McGlone
and Stewart passed each
othervdozens of times as
they battled for lead. As the
checkered flag flew it was
Stewart (Harbourside
Trailer Park) earning him-
self a well-deserved check-
ered flag.
In the Aqua Fina Mini
Sprint division, heat races
were won by the #3 of Lisa
Jennison from Grand Bend
Powerful. peewees
feature win for
macro Speedway
(Goodwrench Service) and
the #60 of Derik Whiting
from Grand Bend (St.
Mary's Ford). In the feature
it was the #30 of Greg
Smulders from Dorchester
(Granger Fuels) holding off
the #43 of Stephen Rees
(SNE Winnebago) for the
victory.
In the Mug Rootbeer Mini
Super Truck division it was
a three -peat for the #3 of
Shaun Jennison'-.

feature victory. This should
almost put a lock on the"
first ,ever points champi-
onship in the Mini Super
Truck division for
Jennison.
In the Pepsi Micro Sprint
division it was all the #54
of Darrell Limon from
Watford (McDonnell Fuels)
picking up two heat race
wins and a feature victory.
This should secure Limon
his second straight points
. title in the division.
Next week's sponsor for a
two-day event is Grogan
Ford. We will be running a

night and the final race of
the season will be held on
Sunday afternoon with rac-
ing beginning at 2:30 p.m.
