During the evening of Aug. 24, thieves gained access to the Main St. Market by forcing open a side door. Three businesses inside the building were entered. Nothing was taken from The Bags and Sunglasses Depot and Shelly's but cigarettes and a quantity of cash were taken from Maria's Little Beach Shop. During the same night, .J.D.'s Restaurant was also hit after thieves pried open a window. Police said a "quan- tity of cash was stolen during that theft.
