tinues through the sum-
mer months.
Dinner music on the
keyboard was provided

Ryckman, Wilma Davis
and Maxine Sereda.
Cards were signed for
Don Jolly, Ada Dinney,
Mary and Bill Smits.
Lucky draw prize win-
ners during the month of
July were: Elinor Clarke,
Estelle Chalmers, Gertie
Verkerk, Jack Coates,
Clair Masse and Lorne
Porter. Draws were made
for flowers and vegeta-
bles donated by mem-
bers.
Two 50/50 draws were
won by Beatrice Munn
and An deRijk.
Elinor Clarke showed.
beautiful slides of her trip
to Israel. She gave an
interesting and informa-
tive description of the
many historical places
she visited there.
Souvenirs of her trip were
also shown.
The women had a . spe-
cial treat when Gail
LaPlante displayed the
"Weekenders" clothing
line.
Everyone enjoyed the
New Life Singers with
Marlene, Jonathon and
Timothy Thornton when
they entertained. The
Swinging Seniors present-
ed an excellent program
of old time music.
The foot Care Clinic will
be held Thursday, August
3 at the Lion's Youth

CENTRALIA - Congregation members of the Centralia
United Church may want to take this opportunity to
visit some other churches and worship with friends.
Services will not be held in August. They will resume
on Sept. 5, at regular worship times.
The children will find fun activities at the Vacation
Bible Schools held at some of the local churches.
Upcoming events
Zion Cemetery Decoration Service will be held Aug.
22 at 11 a.m. Minister Heather Scott will be the guest
speaker. The guest musician will be Leona McBride.
Euchre results
Lone hand winners in the Monday afternoon euchre
games held recently in Crediton were Edith Eaton and.
Walter Webber. The high point winners were Pat Davis
and Lila Ellis. Low point holders for the day were
Doreen Lightfoot and George Adams.
At Centralia, Helen MacDonald was the hidden score
winner in the euchre games. High point winners for
the day were Lorna Nelson and Gil Northey. Doris Pfaff
and Dan Northey were the lone hand winners.
