Kippen East WI visits sheep farm
ZURICH - Kippen East W.I. travelled last Saturday to
Millington's for lunch and then on to the Shayrina
Sheep Farm where they learned about 15 breeds of
sheep. Kevin Bishop sheared a sheep and the audience
participated in feeding the lambs and calf, and the
ewes in the field.
A highlight of the day was being piped in and out
from the program.
The group went on to Jim and Leona Armstrong's
cottage where they held a meeting.
A picnic is planned on July 6 at Crediton at noon.
Kippen East is taking the first course.
The roll call was answered by recalling an outstared -
mg accomplishment.
Grace Drummond read "My Canada" and Grace Eyre
read "The Back Porch Swing".

SPECIAL VACATION FEATURE
The fourth vacation design in our 8 week series is simple and efficient. Cantyaujesrseettle
fishing rods leaning against the railing on that sundeck?
This home offers a cdmfortable open plan design, providing ample room for friends and family
to stretch out and relax. The kitchen has an efficient working.layout with ample cupboard and
counter space. Two good sized bedrooms share a three piece bath. The side entrance leads
Into a utility room where dirty clothes and coats and shoes can be dropped off before entering
the main living area.
Sliding glass doors lead from the breakfast area and the living room to a large. sundeck - a
perfect spot to set up the barbecue.
Best of all, low square footage and a simple roof and foundation plan keep construction costs
down.
Plans for V-71 may be obtained for $375.00 for a package of five complete sets of working
prints and $30.00 for each additional set of the same plan. Allow $20.00 extra to cover the
cost of courier and handling (B.C. residents add 7% PST to plan total.) Al! Canadian residents
add 7% GST to plan total plus courier and handling.
