Davis SAINTSSURY CORRESPONDENT SAINTSBURY - St. Patrick's Church cele- brated a service of Holy Eucharist on June 27 at 10:30 a.m. with The Rev. Stanley Jay offl- cient. The children's focus was "We can't do things ourselves, we need God's help" based on the processional hymn "Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah". Liz Jay and Margaret Carroll assisted with scripture readings. Rose Cunningham was server for the service. Also as rector's war- den, she presented Rev. Jay and Liz with a card and gift of money from the congregation and Sunday School. A lunch and a time of fellowship followed in the parish hall. There will be no ser- vices at St. Patrick's July 4 and 11. Hugh and Hazel Davis were guests of Bob and Heather MacGillivray on Thursday evening at the Biddulph Central School graduation din- ner at Lucan Memorial Arena. Katle-Scarlett was one of the gradu- ates. She received the Music Award presented by Bill Haskett. Ed, Penny and Craig Cunningham of near Ingersoll were Sunday evening dinner guests Kippen East WI visits sheep farm ZURICH - Kippen East W.I. travelled last Saturday to Millington's for lunch and then on to the Shayrina Sheep Farm where they learned about 15 breeds of sheep. Kevin Bishop sheared a sheep and the audience participated in feeding the lambs and calf, and the ewes in the field. A highlight of the day was being piped in and out from the program. The group went on to Jim and Leona Armstrong's cottage where they held a meeting. A picnic is planned on July 6 at Crediton at noon. Kippen East is taking the first course. The roll call was answered by recalling an outstared - mg accomplishment.
