Exams approaching quickly at South Huron
'Hollywood Nights,' the
1998-1999 formal, was a
huge success. The formal
committee did a wonder-
ful job turning the gyln
into a scene fit for
Hollywood and the
night into a won-
derful event.
Thank you for
making this year's
formal a night to
remember forever.
Congratulations
to all candidates
for Student of the
Year, and especial-
ly to,the winners,
Mandy Rolph and
Darryl Romph.
These two people have
done an excellent job dis-
playing the attributes of a
Panther and deserve
many thanks for helping
the 'school as much as
they have.
The Battle of the Bands
is coming up this week on
Wednesday. There are
seven groups competing
and the event is expected
to be an exciting competi-
tion. There will be three
experts judging the event
and looking for a variety
of musical abilities. Good
luck to all candidates.
The final choral con-
cert, "Yours in Song," will
be held Thurs.,
June 10 at 7:30
p.m.
This year the
concert is being
held at the
Christian.
Reformed
Church in
Exeter. A free
will donation
towards the
Music
Department will
be accepted at the door.

It is a tradition that the
Stratford Festival give
complimentary tickets to
every graduating student

by the office.
Commencement seems
a long way ahead, but
through the busy sched-
ules of this summer and
next fall, students are
bound to forget when it is
being held. Please mark
On your calendars that
commencement is Oct. 8
at 7:30 p.m. in the large
gym. Graduates must be
there by 7 p.m. in order
to get ready for the event.

their profile for the histo-
ry book. They were asked
to include pictures if
available.

POLICE BRIEFS
Motorcycle stolen
HENSALL — Ofn June 1, a motorcycle was
stolen during broad daylight from the
Hensall Co-op on Davidson Drive. The
bike's owner, an employee of
Hensall Co-op, noticed his blue
1985 Yamaha Maxum 750CC,
Ontario licence plate #1H162 was
missing in the early afternoon. The
keys were not with the vehicle.
Vehicles broken into
DASHWOOD —Vehicles parked on Helen St.
and Elma St. were broken into during the
evening of June 3. Tools, a wallet and CD's
were stolen from the two vehicles. •
