year: Outside of school, I have
aepart-time job at McTaggart's
Food Market in . Hensall.. In the
past, I have volunteered at the
Hensall United Church with
Bible School and annual beef
suppers. I have been a part of
Hensall . Minor Hockey for
three years, and Hensall Minor
Hockey for three years, and
Hensall Minor Ball for about
six years.

for walks ,or, go =rollerblading

Winter months, I do a great deal
of novel reading as well as skat-
ing because I love to skate and

Driving. In grade nine, I went
on an .Enrichment trip to
Ottawa for a week with 150 stu-
dents from all across Canada. I
enjoy rollerblading and walling
and I play baseball every sum-
mer for Hensall.
I work at Queensway Nursing
and 'Retirement Home. I am in
thesititehen. as a Dietary Aide. I
enjoy my job a lot and get along
with all staff and residents.
After high school, I plan to go
to college as an office adminis-
trative executive. I have also
helped with Bible Schools: This
school is held every. summer at
the Hensall United Church.

I enjoy swimming and volley-
ball. Animals are another
great passion of mine. I work
at. Queensway Nursing Home
and . I enjoy it very much.
In the future, I would like
to become a Massage
Therapist and open my own
sports injury clinic.

Queensway Nursing
and Retirement Home,

Mitchell will be the
guest speaker. Paul
Steckle will be in atten-
dance to bring greet-
ings from the Federal
Government.
Presentations of a spe-
cial, Hensall
International Year of
Older Persons
Recognition Award will
be made to Community
Seniors. In addition,
the Hensall Parks
Board will also present
the Hensall Volunteer
Recognition Awards
and the Provincial
Senior of the Year
Award.
Bob Heywood will act
as • Master of
Ceremonies for the
evening.
"There seems to be
some confusion about
this event," said
Organizing Committee
member . Betty
Simmons. "This is an
event for the whole
community, not just
seniors.”
The event is being co-
sponsored by funding
from the Ontario
Seniors' secretariat, in
conjunction with the
International Year of
Older Persons. The
evening recognizes the
importance of the com-
ing together of all of
the community's gener-
ations.
