I am also very excited about attending college because I have a great interest in the field of law and am looking forward to being out on my own. I enjoy my job a lot and get along with all staff and residents. After high school, I plan to go to college as an office adminis- trative executive. I also 'attended acting school in Blyth and Huron Country Playhouse for five years. I am enrolled in such sports as baseball, hockey and ringette. I took piano lessons for eight years and jazz and ballet through my childhood. I enjoy swimming and volley- ball. Animals are another great passion of mine. I work at. Queensway Nursing Home and . Entertainment arranged by the Hensall Kinettes, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served country -style, at 6 p.m. The dinner is being provided by Pineridge Barbecue, of Hensall. Dessert is being con- tributed by the Carmel Presbyterian Church, Hensall United Church, Queensway Nursing and Retirement Home, and the Legion Ladies Dinner going fast Auxiliary. During dessert, Pirie Mitchell will be the guest speaker. Paul Steckle will be in atten- dance to bring greet- ings from the Federal Government. Presentations of a spe- cial, Hensall International Year of Older Persons Recognition Award will be made to Community Seniors. In addition, the Hensall Parks Board will also present the Hensall Volunteer Recognition Awards and the Provincial Senior of the Year Award. Bob Heywood will act as • Master of Ceremonies for the evening. "There seems to be some confusion about this event," said Organizing Committee member . Betty Simmons. "This is an event for the whole community, not just seniors.” The event is being co- sponsored by funding from the Ontario Seniors' secretariat, in conjunction with the International Year of Older Persons. The evening recognizes the importance of the com- ing together of all of the community's gener- ations.
