(photo/contributed) Hensall's BellCampbell notch numerous Jr. B Rocket awards By Craig Bradford TIMES -ADVOCATE STAFF STRATHROY - The recent Strathroy Jr. B Rockets awards banquet seemed more like a 'ensall hoedown with captain Mark Bell and Jeff Campbell picking up much .of the hockey team's annual hardware. Bell's awards included the Jerry and Judy Edmunds Award (best defenceman), the Jeremiah Honsberger Award (best plus-minus for .a defenceman), the Entertainment Tonight player of the year Third Star Award, runner-up for the leadership and inspiration award and being named to the East Division all-star team. Campbell's awards included the Deke Taylor Award (rookie of year), the Strathroy Aikido Fan Choice Award (most pop- ular player selected by fans), the Entertainment Tonight player of the year Second Star Award, the Jannet Honsberger Award (playoff MVP), the Roy Bruhlman Memorial Award (Western Jr. B League rookie of year) and being named to the East Division all-star Shuffleboard Exeter April 1 - 4 wins Gil Northey 3 wins Pauline Simmons. Bell, now completing the school year at Strathray District Collegiate. Institute and living in Strathroy (his parents have recently moved to Exeter where he'll stay this summer), plans on playing for the Exeter Centennials men's soccer team this summer. Hockey -wise, Bell hopes to play for University of Western Ontario next sea- son where he would study geography. If Bell, 20, doesn't suit up for the UWO Mustangs, he hopes to be back for his last year of junior hockey with the Rockets. Bell scored 38 points in 38 regular season games last season and four points in six playoff games. Campbell, 17, hopes to catch on with an OHL team next season, either. through the overage draft (he's ranked 'AA' in the first round) or through tryouts at either Ottawa or Belleville. He also scored seven goals and four assists in six playoff games.
