What is Easter?
Hope - A tiny crocus pushing its way up through the
snow; it's songbirds returning with faith that spring is
here.
Rebirth - It's the scent of new earth and the appear-
ance of fresh, green grass; it's opening buds and soft
rain; it's warm sunshine and nest building.
Peace - It's a quietness and faith; it's soft music for
the soul; it's prayer and serenity of knowing "In my
Father's house are many mansions."
Beauty - It's golden daffodils and tall white lilies; it's
red tulips, purple hyacinths; it's the morning sun shin-
ing ,hrough stained glass windows.
Love - It's families and closeness and sharing; it's the
love of a Father who would give His only begotten Son;
it's the love of a Son who would give His life for us.
